Ordered the grilled chicken bowl with white rice and udon noodles and a side of spring rolls. I paid an extra $1.29 to get noodles included and they gave me literally one noodle.

I asked for the shachimi spice for the beef plate and i usually put 4-5 of those but the manager of this store just gave me 2 i had to stand up went to the register to ask more 2 or 3 more and with a bad attitude he said “we only give 2 of those per bowl” and i said okay sell it to me, but he refused and told me that YOU YOSHINOYA “dont sell those, that only give 2 por bowl” I absolutely love this restaurant for the food i even apply for a position which i get denied idk why but anyways, just letting you guys know my experience and i would change of location for mu next meal. That moment with the manager was awful and disrespectful towards the customer (me) 30 sec after this pic he handled me 2 more which are in the picture im sad

This Yoshinoya is always consistent. I feel like it’s the only Yoshinoya left in the area. It’s quality food at an inexpensive price point. You know exactly what you’re getting every time. The flavors are predictable in the best way possible - perfect for when you want a "no-surprises" kinda healthy lunch. With everything so expensive, the quality-to-cost ratio here remains excellent. It’s hard to find a hot, filling meal that is this budget-friendly. I go the 2 large bowls of $16.99 special. The only reason this isn’t a flat 5-star review is the atmosphere. The location is a bit dodgy, and the crowd can occasionally make the dining experience feel a little weird" or unpredictable, It’s definitely more of a "grab-and-go" or "quick-bite" destination rather than a place to linger. There is a drive-through but I find it faster to walk in than drive-through. If you can look past the slightly odd setting and the weird people, the food itself is a solid for value and taste.

Yoshinoya is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. As a thriller and romance author, I appreciate the clean and healthy food options. I have to keep my mind and body strong to continue writing my novels, and Yoshinoya is definitely one of my go-to choices for quick food. This location has been here forever and always has a decent crowd at lunch. It’s in a super convenient spot in South Chula Vista near Target, Michaels, and other stores. There is always parking available, so that’s never a problem. One of the big bonuses is that this location has a drive-through. Sometimes when I’m traveling around researching my next novel, I need to grab food and keep moving. Yoshinoya fits the bill so I can still have a healthy lunch while getting on to my next research project. Recommended.
